This real-world project showcases a customized P4 Outdoor Advertising Display specifically engineered for overhead canopy installation at a high-traffic highway gas station. To capture the attention of motorists approaching fuel bays and service areas, our engineering team developed a compact 3.29m × 1.05m high-resolution digital video billboard. The display is mounted directly beneath the fuel station's roof structure using a heavy-duty overhead suspension framework.

Challenge: Gas station canopies trap fuel fumes, vehicle exhaust particles, and elevated temperatures, all while exposing screens to direct daytime sunlight glare and dust.
Solution: The screen features an IP65-rated front enclosure with corrosion-resistant cabinet materials and sealed protection design help improve long-term outdoor reliability to prevent chemical degradation. Delivering ≥5,500 Nits brightness and a wide contrast ratio, the P4 screen maintains crisp, glare-free readability for drivers even during intense noon sun exposure. An integrated light sensor adjusts brightness automatically to avoid blinding motorists at night.
Challenge: Suspending digital hardware over active driveway lanes demands strict overhead safety, low structural weight, and stability against severe wind drafts created by passing high-speed trucks.
Solution: Instead of utilizing bulky steel frames, we engineered an ultra-lightweight aluminum cabinet chassis fitted with high-tensile eye-bolts and high-strength locking connectors. This structure minimizes load stress on the station canopy while guaranteeing stability under continuous vibrations and highway wind shear.
Challenge: Unlike high-altitude billboards, canopy-mounted screens operate at closer viewing distances, requiring fine resolution so that text and fuel numbers stay sharp to stationary drivers at the pumps.
Solution: The P4 pixel configuration provides high dot density （62,500 pixels/sqm), ensuring clear typography and smooth animation playback whether viewed from 4 meters at the fuel pump or 30 meters out on the approach lane.
Before production, our engineering team evaluated the canopy structure, viewing distance, and installation position.

After mechanical installation, brightness calibration and content testing were completed to ensure stable operation under daytime and nighttime conditions.
